The mission of Gábor Dénes Egyetem is to provide high-quality education which satisfies the requirements of the labour market and meets the challenges of both Hungary and the world. Our aim is to offer practice-oriented education based on academic theories. Our training is open and flexible, and the education is based on E-learning study materials. The diploma is recognised worldwide as being among the most up-to-date, living qualifications, necessary for a career in Information and Communication Technology. Over a period of 30 years more than 15,000 students have graduated and have begun work as successful professionals in various fields of computing. Student support is an essential component of student life. GDE is committed to provide a wide range of support from the point of administration up to graduation. Our students have the opportunity to work in two scientific research and development labs: Drone Technology and Image Processing, and Educational Methodology. We have more future-oriented, longer-term activities in science and technology. Technology transfer is continuous between our institution and leading IT multinational companies. Our institute considers it important to develop and maintain international connections. GDE will mainly participate in WP4.
