GUnet (Greek Universities Network) is a non-profit company founded in 2000, and its members are all Greek Universities. Its main goal is to foster the digital transformation of its members and function as their technical arm. GUnet has a deep knowledge in the area of trust & identity services, it is an active partner in the EBSI MU Pilot and it is already registered as an EBSI conformant wallet. It aims to jumpstart all Greek Universities into the EBSI ecosystem and set the foundations for cross-border diploma verification processes. Hence, it will explore, develop and fuse the emerging EBSI technologies into the eDiplomas platform, already operating in production. GUnet participates in WP3 European Self Sovereign Identity Framework (ESSIF) specifications and WP4 Education use case.
